Daniel commenced as a Director at Bick & Steele in 2022, after spending 10 years in large law firms in Sydney and earning an endorsement from Doyle’s Guide as a future leading lawyer. 

Daniel began his career in the law as an editor at LexisNexis, before working with the Department of Defence, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, and finally Herbert Smith Freehills, where he worked for a number of years with fellow directors Marcus and Darren.

He works with clients in the areas of urban development, compulsory acquisition, environmental compliance, regulatory action, contamination law, and transactional due diligence.

Daniel operates across diverse sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, industrial, energy and resources, and infrastructure, for both public and private entities.

He practices in all areas of environment and planning law and advises clients on: 

• Development Consents

• Environmental Approvals

• Environmental Assessment

• Regulatory Investigations & Prosecutions

• Compulsory Acquisition

• Planning Agreements

• Resources Regulation

Daniel has been awarded the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws - Macquarie University

• Bachelor of Arts (Politics) - Macquarie University

• Master of Laws - University of Sydney
