Before co-founding Bick & Steele, Marcus worked for over a decade at "Top Tier" Australian law firms advising clients in the urban development, infrastructure and resources sectors. 

Marcus commenced his legal career as a Tipstaff of Justice Virginia Bell and then worked for several years at the NSW Crown Solicitor's Office. 

Marcus practices in all areas of environment and planning law and advises clients on: 

• Development Consents

• Environmental Approvals

• Environmental Assessment

• Regulatory Investigations & Prosecutions

• Compulsory Acquisition

• Planning Agreements

• Resources Regulation

Marcus is an experienced litigator having acted for clients in proceedings in the NSW Land and Environment Court, NSW Supreme Court, Federal Court of Australia and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Qualifications

Marcus has the following qualifications awarded by the University of Sydney:

• Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours)

• Bachelor of Economics (Social Sciences)

• Master of Arts (Psychology)
